ACTIVE LEARNING BERMEDIA GAMBAR TERHADAP PRESTASI BELAJAR IPS PADA KELAS V DI SDLB
A hearing impairment child was an individual who had disorder to the hearing sense, made the child difficult to accept audio stimulus and got disturbance in receiving verbally learning. Therefore, it required interesting learning media for hearing impairment children. The suitable and interesting learning media would develop the students’ interest in learning and the material conveyed would be easier to be understood so that the students’ learning achievement would enhance.
Active learning with picture was very suitable used for learning social study to hearing impairment students because this active learning with picture media was visual learning media so that active learning with picture media influenced toward learning achievement of social study to class V in SDLB-B Karya Mulia II Surabaya.
The research done was quantitative pre experiment with the one group pretest-posttest design while the data collection used test technique and the data analysis used statistic non parametric with the sign test formula (Saleh, 1996:5) with 5% critic value level.
From the result of data analysis obtained after doing research which Zh was greater than Z table it was 2,48 > 1,96 so that Ho was refused and Ha was accepted. It meant there was influence of active learning with picture media toward learning achievement of social study to class V in SDLB-B Karya Mulia II Surabaya. The conclusion was learning achievement of social study to class V in SDLB-B Karya Mulia II Surabaya which was low at first had enhancement after using active learning with picture media.
