Orientation and mobility constitute an ability to move in their own environment with congratulations
and as independent possible. Process orientation and mobility can be applied with direct instructional model
in the school environment, direct instructional model the own constitute learning model that use
demonstration and explanation teacher combined with training and feedback student.
This research use approach quantitative and type study pre- experiment with use design pre-test and
post test, in technique analysis in this study be used statistic non-parametric with use Wilcoxon Match Pairs
Test.
Results study that show, process activity direct learning in school environment have influence that
significant can improve ability orientation and mobility on blind students to become better again. Proven
from statistical results obtainable value T arithmetic = 36. Because T arithmetic value 36 (greater than from 0)
than can concluded zero hipotesis (Ho) rejected and working hypothesis (Ha) be accepted..
