EFEKTIFITAS TEKNIK TOKEN ECONOMIC DALAM MENINGKATAN HASILBELAJAR MATEMATIKA ANAK TUNAGRAHITA RINGAN KELAS V DI SDLB
This research focused to cognitive problem of mild mentally retardation i.e. mathematics lesson. For mentally
retardation the mathematics lesson was the most difficult lesson because they should memorize. They also needed to
know the way to do every exercise which the way was uncertainly the same. The technique of economic token was the
basic principle of positive reinforcement. This research had purpose to know whether the behavior modification method
of token economy was effective or not in enhancing learning mathematics result to mild mentally retardation children.
This research used quantitative approach with pre experiment arrangement and one group pretest and posttest
design. The subject was the fifth class of mild mentally retardation children in SDLB Muhammadiyah Golokan Gresik.
The collection method with the technique of data analysis used statistic non parametric of sign test. The result obtained
was Z counted (Zh) = 2,03 and it was compared by one side sign test 1,96 so that Zh > Z table i.e. 2,03 > 1,96 so it
could be stated Ho was refused and Ha was accepted with the conclusion: there was enhancement of learning
mathematics result to the fifth class of mild mentally retardation children in SDLB Muhammadiyah Golokan Gresik..
