PENINGKATAN KEMAMPUAN GERAK MOTORIK KASAR MELALUI PERMAINAN BASKET MODIFIKASI SISWA CEREBRAL PALSY KELAS II & III SLB
Gross motorik movement capability is the ability or skill the child in performing an action in the form of activities that involve large muscle that are classified as basic motorik skills such as balance, catch, crawling, throwing, holding, touching, bending and reaching something with his physical condition. If the gross motorik movement to have trouble then it will hamper the ability of motorik movement in daily activity, so that he couldn’t perform daily activity.
Cerebral Palsy children are children who have problems, nervous disorders of the brain due to damage to the pyramidal tract or extrapyramidal motorik system so cerebral palsy children impaired motor function, and cause children difficulty performing gross motor movement in everyday life. Formulation of the problem in this research is "How improve gross motorik movement through the game of basketball modification of cerebral palsy students of class II and III SLB Juwetkenongo Porong Sidarjo".
Subjects in this study were children Cerebral Palsy class II and III in SLB Juwetkenongo Porong, totaling four boys with gross motorik movement capability is still low. This study uses a classroom action research (PTK) with the design of the model class research Kemmis & Mc. Taggart (in Arikunto, 2006). Data collection techniques used were observation, test and documentation actions. Analysis of the data used in this research is the analysis of reflection based on cycles.
From the findings of the study showed an increase in gross motor movement capabilities through the basketball game modifications. Scores research results are shown from the results of research based on the cycles. Cycle II> I, II cycle assessment results increased 72% while the first cycle of 40%.
