MODEL OUTDOOR LEARNING TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR ILMU PENGETAHUAN ALAM SISWA TUNANETRA
Blind had sight function deviation that it had impact to academic development. One of them was science subject matter about understanding the variety of creatures. Based on the problem above, the blind students required creative and innovative learning using Outdoor Learning model. The purpose research was to know whether there was influence of Outdoor Learning model toward the learning result of science to blind students in SMPLB-A Gebang Surabaya.
The research methodology was quantitative pre experiment. The design used one group pre-test post-test with the subject 10 students. The data collection technique used was writing test. The test used to obtain the quantitative data about the students’ learning result applied Outdoor Learning model.
From the result of data analysis it indicated that the pretest average value was 60,5 and the posttest was 84. The analysis result indicated that ZH value = 2,84. Because ZH the value was 2,84 (greater than 1,96) so it could be concluded Ho (null hypothesis) was refused it meant Ha (alternative hypothesis) was accepted. If Ha was accepted it meant that there was significant influence of the use of Outdoor Learning model toward learning science result to the blind students in SMPLB-A Gebang Surabaya.
