PENGARUH RELAKSASI PROGRESIF TERHADAP PERILAKUHIPERAKTIF ANAK AUTIS DI SEKOLAH INKLUSIADELIA SMART SIDOARJO

Abstract

Autism children generally had behaviour disturbance, one of them was hyperactive
behaviour so that they got preventation in learning process. Basen on the fact of observation
result on 23rd July 2012 it indicated that there was a student who had hyperactive behaviour
disturbance during learning process are the children could not sit calmly in a certain time, the
behaviour were leaving class, running, and walking ground.
This research had purpose to analyze the influence of relaxation progressive toward
autism children’s hyperactive behaviour in Adelia Smart Inklusif School. This research was
experimental wich applied Single Subject Research (SSR) method with the category reversal
design of A-B. The analysis data technique used simple descriptive statistic (Sunanto,
2005:56).
The result obtained from the research was that the duration of hyperactive behaviour are
the student could not sit calmly was long enough, in baseline phase (A) 6-10 second there
was duration which indicated variable or unstable, the duration of intervation phase (B) 4-2
second there was decreasing compared with baseline phase (A). The tendency direction
indicated affirmative change. Overlap data percentage was 0%. From the explanation above it
could be concluded that hyperactive behavoiur of autism children decreased by applying
relaxtation progressive. Based on the result it could be concluded the application of
relaxtation progressive could decrease autism children’s hyperactive behaviour in Adelia
Smart Inklusif School.
