PENGARUH STUDENT TEAMS ACHIEVEMENT DIVISION (STAD) TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA DI SDLB-B KARYA MULIA I SURABAYA

Abstract

The obstacle experienced by hearing impairment impacted to the decreasing of academic achievement which caused the low learning result like mathematic lesson which insisted the students to have abstract thinking ability. Learning model required understanding teachers so that it could implement the learning affectively in increasing learning result. Based on the backround the researcher applied Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) with the purpose to know the influenced toward learning mathematic result to the third class or hearing impairment students in SDLB-B Karya Mulia I Surabaya. The approach used in this research was quantitative. The kind of research was pre experiment. The design used the one group pre tes and post test. The method was test, to collect the data of learning mathematic result before and after giving intervention. The application of intervention in this research was done 10 times meeting with the time allocation 60 minutes each meeting. The data analysis used analysis technique of non parametric statistic, sign test. The analysis result used sign test could be concluded that there was significant influence in using Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) toward learning mathematic result of the third class of hearing impairment student in SDLB-B Karya Mulia I Surabaya with ZH value = 2, 05 > Z table 5% 1, 96.
