PENGARUH PENDEKATAN PROSES MENULIS TERHADAP KETERAMPILAN MENULIS NARASI SISWA TUNARUNGU DI SLB-B DHARMA WANITA SIDOARJO

Abstract

Menulis merupakan alat utama unjuk kerja tugas-tugas akademik dan alat komunikasi yang sangat penting bagi siswa tunarungu. Keterampilan menulis siswa tunarungu dapat dioptimalkan dengan memberikan suatu latihan menulis, salah satunya latihan menulis narasi. Untuk dapat menulis narasi diperlukan suatu tahapan proses menulis mulai dari pramenulis, penulisan, revisi, penyuntingan, dan publikasi.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran menulis dengan pendekatan proses menulis, terutama dalam keterampilan menentukan judul, membuat kerangka narasi, penggunaan tanda baca, penggunaan huruf kapital dan menulis narasi.

Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Jenis penelitian pre experimental design, desain penelitian one group pre-test post-test design. Teknik analisis datanya statistik non parametrik dengan diterapkan rumus uji wilcoxon match pair test. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan tes. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes tertulis.

Berdasarkan hasil analisis uji wilcoxon match pair test tentang pendekatan proses menulis, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan pendekatan proses menulis terhadap keterampilan menulis narasi siswa tunarungu di SLB-B Dharma Wanita Sidoarjo.

Writing was the main tools to present the work of academic tasks and very important communication tools for hearing impairment students. The writing skill of hearing impairment students could be optimized by giving a writing training, one of them was writing narration training. To be able to write narration was needed some steps of writing process beginning from pre-writing, writing, revision, editing, and publication.

This research had purpose to know the influence of learning writing with writing process approach, especially in the skills of determining title, making narration outline, using punctuation, using capital letter, and writing narration.

This research used quantitative approach. The research kind was pre-experimental design and the research design was one group pre test – post test design. The technique of analysis data was statistic non parametric by applying the formula of Wilcoxon match pair test. The technique of data collection was test. The research instrument was in the form of written test.

Based on the result of Wilcoxon match pair test analysis about writing process approach, it could be concluded that there was significant influence of writing process approach toward writing narration skill to hearing impairment students in SLB-B Dharma Wanita Sidoarjo.
