IMPLEMENTASI MEDIA GAMBAR SERI TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN MENULIS CERITA SEDERHANA ANAK TUANGRAHITA RINGAN

Abstract

Kemampuan menulis cerita sederhana anak tunagrahita ringan masih kurang dalam menggunakan tanda baca, menggunakan huruf, menggunakan kosakata, menggunakan kalimat yang benar. Berkaitan dengan hal tersebut penelitian ini tentang kemampuan menulis cerita sederhana anak tunagrahita ringan di SLB Dewi Sartika Sidoarjo perlu dioptimalkan dengan bantuan media gambar seri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh media gambar seri terhadap kemampuan menulis cerita sederhana anak tunagrahita ringan.Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis pre eksperimental design dan rancangan one group pre test-post test design. Teknik statistik yang digunakan dalam analisis penelitian adalah wilcoxon matched pairs test. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa tes tulis dan observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Zh=2,20 lebih besar dibandingkan nilai kritis 5% Zt=+1,96 yang dapat diartikan bahwa ada pengaruh media gambar seri terhadap kemampuan menulis cerita sederhana anak tunagrahita ringan di SLB Dewi Sartika Sidoarjo.The ability to write simple story of mild mentally retardation children is still lacking in punctuation, using letters, using vocabulary, using correct sentences. Related to this research about the ability to write a simple story of mild mentally retardation children in SLB Dewi Sartika Sidoarjo needs to be optimized with the help of the serial picture media. This study aims to examine the effect of the series drawing media on the ability to write simple stories of children with mild mentally retardation. The research approach used was quantitative research approach with pre experimental design type and the arrangement was one group pre test-post test design. The statistic technique used in the research analysis is wilcoxon matched pairs test. The technique of collecting data in the form of write test and observation. The result shows that Zh = 2.20 is bigger than the critical value of 5% Zt = + 1.96 which can be interpreted that there is influence of series drawing media on the ability to write simple story of mild mentally retardation children in SLB Dewi Sartika Sidoarjo.
