MODEL PEMBELAJARAN LANGSUNG BERMEDIA WORD WALL TERHADAP PEMAHAMAN KOSAKATA ANAK TUNARUNGU KELAS I DI SDLB-B

Abstract

Anak tunarungu mengalami gangguan pada fungsi pendengaran sehingga mengakibatkan anak terhambat pada perkembangan bahasa yang berdampak pula pada kemampuan pemahaman kosakatanya. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengkaji ada atau tidaknya pengaruh model pembelajaran langsung bermedia word wall terhadap pemahaman kosakata anak tunarungu kelas I di SDLB-B Dharma Wanita Sidoarjo.

Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif, jenis pra eksperimen dengan desain One-group pre-test post-test design. Pengumpulan data dengan tes, teknik analisis data statistik non-parametrik dengan rumus Wilcoxon Match Pair Tes. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa nilai Zt=1,96 dan Zh=2,67 maka interpretasi Ha > Ho. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan Ha diterima, artinya ada pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap model pembelajaran langsung bermedia word wall terhadap pemahaman kosakata anak tunarungu di SDLB-B Dharma Wanita Sidoarjo.

Hearing impairment children experienced disturbance to hearing function so that it made the children being disturbed to the speech development which had impact to their understanding ability. This research purpose was to observe whether there was influence of direct learning model with word wall media toward vocabulary understanding to hearing impairment children of class I in SDLB-B Dharma Wanita Sidoarjo or not.

This research used quantitative research method, pre-experiment kind with one group pre-test post-test design. The data collection was by test, the analysis technique of statistic non parametric data was by Wilcoxon match pair test. Based on the data analysis result it indicated that the value of Zt = 1,96 and Zh = 2,67 so the interpretation was Ha > Ho. So, it could be concluded that Ha was accepted it meant that there was significant influence of direct learning model with word wall media toward vocabulary understanding to hearing impairment children in SDLB-B Dharma Wanita Sidoarjo.
