MODEL INDUKTIF KATA BERGAMBAR SERI TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN MENULIS PERMULAAN PADA SISWA TUNARUNGU KELAS RENDAH DI SDLB-B

Abstract

Kemampuan menulis permulaan perlu dilatih bagi siswa tunarungu karena diperlukan untuk melakukan kegiatan pembelajaran dan kegiatan sehari-hari. Menulis permulaan yang diteliti dalam penelitian ini mencangkup menulis kalimat tegak bersambung dengan mengamati gambar dan menulis tegak bersambung dengan menyalin kata sesuai tulisan. Kegiatan pembelajaran yang digunakan untuk kemampuan menulis permulaan siswa tunarungu dalam penelitian ini mencangkup model induktif kata bergambar seri melalui empat tahapan, yang dapat berpengaruh dalam kemampuan menulis permulaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan model induktif kata bergambar seri terhadap kemampuan menulis permulaan pada siswa tunarungu. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif jenis penelitian pre eksperimen dengan rancangan penelitian one group pre-post test design. Subjek penelitian siswa tunarungu kelas rendah (kelas 1 dan 2) yang berjumlah 10 orang. Lokasi penelitian di SDLB-B Karya Mulia 1 Surabaya. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa tes dengan teknik analisis data statistik non parametrik menggunakan rumus uji wilcoxon match pairs test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh yang signifikan model induktif kata bergambar seri terhadap kemampuan menulis permulaan pada siswa tunarungu kelas rendah di SDLB-B Karya Mulia 1 Surabaya.

The beginning writing ability needed to be trained for hearing impairment students because it was required to do learning activity and daily activity. The beginning writing which was observed in this research involved writing sentences by perpendicular continuous with observing picture and writing sentences by perpendicular continuous with copying the words as the writing. The learning activity used for beginning writing ability of hearing impairment students in this research involved inductive model of series pictorial words through four steps which could influence in beginning writing ability. This research had purpose to analyze the influence of the inductive model of series pictorial words usage toward the beginning writing ability to hearing impairment students. This research used quantitative approach of pre experiment kind with the research arrangement of one group pre – post test design. The research subjects were hearing impairment students of low class (class 1 and 2) numbering 10 children. The research location was in SDLB-B Karya Mulia 1 Surabaya. The technique of data collection was in the form of test and the analysis technique of statistic non parametric data used the formula of Wilcoxon match pairs test. The research result indicated that there was significant influence of inductive model of series pictorial words toward beginning writing ability to hearing impairment students of low class in SDLB-B Karya Mulia 1 Surabaya.
