METODE VAKT BERMEDIA MARBEL TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN MENULIS PERMULAAN ANAK AUTIS

Abstract

Kemampuan menulis permulaan anak autis masih kurang dalam aspek menulis huruf vokal dan menulis huruf konsonan pada kata buku, bola, mama, meja, papa dan pipi, karena dalam pembelajaran metode dan media yang digunakan kurang bervariasi sehingga kurang menarik minat belajar anak autis. Anak autis masih mempunyai potensi untuk dilatih kemampuan menulisnya. Berkaitan dengan hal tersebut kemampuan menulis permulaan anak autis di Sekolah Anak Berkebutuhan Khusus Cita Hati Bunda Sidoarjo perlu dioptimalkan melalui metode VAKT bermedia marbel. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh metode VAKT bermedia marbel terhadap kemampuan menulis permulaan anak autis di Sekolah Anak Berkebutuhan Khusus Cita Hati Bunda Sidoarjo. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis pre eksperimental design dan rancangan one group pre test-post test design. Teknik statistik yang digunakan dalam analisis data adalah wilcoxon matched pairs test. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa tes dan observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa T = 0 sama dengan nilai krisis Tα (tabel) 5% (pengujian dua sisi) yaitu 2 berarti T ≤ Tα, yang dapat diartikan bahwa ada pengaruh metode VAKT bermedia marbel terhadap kemampuan menulis permulaan anak autis di Sekolah Anak Berkebutuhan Khusus Cita Hati Bunda Sidoarjo.

The beginning writing ability of autism children was still less in the aspect of writing vowel and consonant letters to the words of buku (book), bola (ball), mama (mother), meja (table), papa (father), and pipi (cheek) because the learning method and media used were less variety so that they did not attract enough the interest learning of autism children. The autism children still had potential to be trained their writing ability. Regarding this, the beginning writing ability of autism children in special needs children school of Cita Hati Bunda Sidoarjo needed to be optimized through VAKT method with marble media. This research had purpose to test the influence of VAKT method with marble media toward beginning writing ability of autism children in special needs children school of Cita Hati Bunda Sidoarjo. The research approach used was quantitative approach with pre experimental design and the arrangement of one group pre test – post test design. The statistic technique used in this data analysis was Wilcoxon Matched Pairs test. The technique of data collection was in the form of test and observation. The research result indicated that T = 0 was equal to crisis value Tα (table) 5% (two sides test) i.e. 2 meant T ≤ Tα which could be interpreted that there was influence of VAKT method with marble media toward beginning writing ability of autism children in special needs children school of Cita Hati Bunda Sidoarjo.
