PERMAINAN PUZZLE TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN PERHATIAN ANAK AUTIS DI SLB

Abstract

ABSTRAK

Salah satu hambatan yang ditunjukkan dari anak yang didiagnosa autis adalah kurangnya ketertarikan untuk berinteraksi dengan orang lain, sering terlihat sibuk dengan dirinya sendiri, kurangnya kemampuan dalam merespon orang lain atau lingkungannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh permainan puzzle terhadap kemampuan perhatian anak autis di SLB PGRI Badas. Jenis penelitian pre-eksperimental design. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah anak autis usia 5-6 tahun di SLB PGRI Badas berjumlah 6 anak yang kemampuan perhatian masih perlu dikembangkan. Pengumpulan data dengan tes perbuatan. Data dianalisis dengan statistik uji tanda peringkat wilcoxon.

Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adanya peningkatan perhatian pada anak autis saat pre test adalah 54,16 menjadi 73,60 pada saat post test. Selain itu, hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa T= 0 sama dengan nilai krisis Tα (tabel) 5% yaitu 0 berarti T=Tα. Ini menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh permainan puzzle terhadap kemampuan perhatian anak autis di SLB PGRI Badas.

ABSTRACT

One of the disorders showed by the children who were diagnosed had autism was lack of interestedness to interact with other people the children were seen busy with themselves and lack of ability in responding other people or environment. This research had purpose to know the influence of puzzle game toward attention ability of autism children in SLB PGRI Badas. The research kind was pre-experimental design. The subjects in this research were autism children around 5 - 6 years old in SLB PGRI Badas numbering 6 children whose attention ability still needed to be developed. The data collection was done by action test. The data was analyzed by statistic test of Wilcoxon matched pairs.

The research result indicated that there was attention enhancement to autism children. In pre test the value was 54,16 and it became 73,60 in post test. In addition, the research result also indicated that T = 0 was equal to critic value Tα (table) 5% i.e. 0 meant T = Tα. This indicated that there was influence of puzzle game toward attention ability of autism children in SLB PGRI Badas.
