Kemampuan bina diri anak tunagrahita sedang masih kurang dalam aspek makan menggunakan sendok dengan benar secara mandiri. Berkaitan dengan hal tersebut pada penelitian ini mengenai kemapuan bina diri anak tunagrahita sedang di SLB Siti Hajar Sidoarjo kelas rendah sekolah dasar, yang perlu ditingkatkan atau dioptimalkan dengan memberikan model pembelajaran kuantum dalam membelajarkan bina diri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh model pembelajaran kuantum terhadap kemampuan bina diri anak tunagrahita sedang.

Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis pre experimental design dan rancangan one group pre test-post test design. Teknik statistik yang digunakan dalam analisis penelitian ini adalah wilcoxon match pairs test. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa tes unjuk kerja dengan penilaian menggunakan lembar observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ketika sebelum diberikan perlakuan (pre-test) diperoleh nilai rata-rata 55,76 dan setelah diberikan perlakuan (post-test) diperoleh nilai rata-rata 83,78. Sedangkan analisis data menunjukkan bahwa Zh=2,36 lebih besar dibandingkan nilai krisis 5% Zt=1,96 yang dapat diartikan bahwa Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima, sehingga ada pengaruh model pembelajaran kuantum terhadap

kemampuan bina diri anak tunagrahita sedang di SLB Siti Hajar Sidoarjo.

THE INFLUENCE OF QUANTUM LEARNING MODEL TOWARD SELF-GUIDE ABILITY OF MID MENTALLY RETARDATION CHILDREN IN SLB

The self-guide ability of mid mentally retardation was still low in the aspect of eating using spoon well autonomously. In spite of this, this research was about self-guide ability of mid mentally retardation children in SLB Siti Hajar Sidoarjo of elementary school low class which needed to be enhanced or optimized by giving the quantum learning model in learning self-guide. This research had purpose to test the influence of quantum learning model toward self-guide ability of mid mentally retardation children.

This research used quantitative approach with pre experimental design kind and the arrangement of one group pre test – post test design. The statistic analysis used in this research analysis was Wilcoxon match pairs test. The technique of data collection was in the form of work demo test with assessment by using observation sheet. The research result indicated that before giving treatment (pre test) it was obtained average value 55,76 and after giving treatment (post test) it was obtained average value 83,78. The data analysis indicated that Zh = 2,36 was greater than critic value 5% Zt = 1,96 which could be interpreted that Ho was refused and Ha was accepted. So, there was influence of quantum learning model toward self-guide ability of mid mentally retardation children in SLB Siti Hajar Sidoarjo.
