STUDI DESKRIPTIF PERAN KOMUNITAS DISLEKSIA “PARENTS SUPORT GROUP (PSG)”

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan peran komunitas disleksia “Parents Support Group”, permasalahan yang dialami oleh anak disleksia, cara komunitas disleksia “Parents Support Group” dalam mengatasi permasalahan anak disleksia, keorganisasian pada komunitas disleksia “Parents Support Group”, jejaring dalam komunitas disleksia “Parents Support Group” dan hambatan dalam mengelola komunitas disleksia “Parents Support Group” di Lembaga Terapi Cita Hati Bunda.

Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Tahapan penelitian ini dimulai dengan menentukan fokus, mengumpulkan data, menganalisis data dengan menggunakan model alirnya Miles dan Huberman dan memberikan hasil laporan.

Temuan penelitian ini yaitu, peran dalam komunitas disleksi sudah sesuai dengan peran yaitu tempat coming out, tempat tukar informasi, tempat menunjukkan eksistensi dan tempat untuk saling mengelurakan pendapat. Untuk permasalahan anak disleksia yaitu pembalikan huruf dan kata, tidak sanggup menyimpan informasi dalam memori sampai waktu yang cukup lama, kurang mandiri, emosi tidak stabil, ceroboh, koordinasi motorik tangan-kaki lemah,hiperaktif. Ada struktur organisasi, tidak adanya kerja sama dengan komunitas lain, dan hambatan yang dialami selama mengelola komunitas adalah anggota yang masih kurang aktif saja.

The purpose of this study was to describe the role of the dysfunctional community "Parents Support Group", the problems experienced by dyslexic children, the way the dyslexic community "Parents Support Group" in overcoming the problem of dyslexic children, organization in the dyslexic community "Parents Support Group", networks in dyslexic communities "Parents Support Group" and obstacles in managing the dyslexic community "Parents Support Group" in the Mother Heart Care Therapy Institute.

The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method. The stages of this research began with determining focus, collecting data, analyzing data using the flow model of Miles and Huberman and providing the results of the report.

The findings of this study are, the role in the disleksi community is in accordance with the role of coming out, where to exchange information, a place to show existence and a place to express opinions. For the problem of dyslexic children namely reversal of letters and words, unable to store information in memory for a long time, lack of independence, emotional instability, carelessness, weak hand-motorized coordination, hyperactivity. There is an organizational structure, the absence of cooperation with other communities, and the obstacles experienced during managing the community are members who are still less active.
