Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh terbatasnya keterampilan gerak pada siswa tunanetra yang meliputi melangkah ke samping kanan dan kiri, melangkah ke depan dan belakang, menggoyangkan pinggul, mengayunkan tangan, dan gerakan kombinasi yang masih perlu dikembangkan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji pengaruh metode demonstrasi terstruktur terhadap keterampilan gerak tari pada siswa tunanetra di SLB-A YPAB Tegalsari Surabaya.
Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis pre eksperimen. Desain penelitian one group pre test-post test design untuk memperoleh data keterampilan gerak sebelum dan sesudah diberikan perlakuan. Hasil penelitian diperoleh dari hasil pre-test dan post-test. Hasil pre-test 35,83 dan hasil post-test 68,33. Sehingga diperoleh Zh=2,20 lebih besar dibanding nilai krisis 5% Zt=1,96 yang dapat diartikan bahwa ada pengaruh metode demonstrasi terstruktur terhadap keterampilan gerak tari pada siswa tunanetra di SLB-A YPAB Tegalsari Surabaya.

This research was set a background by the blind students’ limitedness of movement skill which involved stepping right side and left side, stepping backward and forward, shaking hips, swinging hands, and combination movement which still required to be developed. This research purpose was to test the influence of structured demonstration method toward dance movement skill to the blind students in SLB-A YPAB Tegalsari Surabaya.This research method used quantitative approach with pre-experiment kind. The research design was one group pre test – post test design to obtain the data of movement skill before and after being given treatment. The research result was obtained from the pre-test and post-test result. The pre-test result was 35,83 and the post-test result was 68,33. So, it was obtained that Zh = 2,20 was greater than critic value 5% Zt = 1,96 which could be interpreted that there was influence of structured demonstration method toward dance movement skill to the blind students in SLB-A YPAB Tegalsari Surabaya.
