Abstract

Abstract; Hearing impairment children had obstacle in language development including their writing skill. Hearing impairment children tended to show low writing, difficult to write basic sentennce with the true structure, word arrangement which was still jumbled and inexact using spelling and punctuation. Therefore it was need to exercise. This purpose was to know whether there was application influence of clustering techneque toward writing skill to the third class of hearing impairment student in SDLB-B Karya Mulia I Surabaya. This research was done by using quantitative approach, pre-experimental design, ang one-group pretest-postest design. Data was done by using test method to determine the outcome data writing basic sentence skills before and after the intervention and documentation methods to collect student data. Data analysis by using sign test formula. The result showed that there was enhancement score of writing basic sentence skill. The pretest was 49.5 becoming 67.5 in the posttest. Z table 5% in two sides testing was 1.96. Zh value obtained was 2.05. Conclusion of research “there was significant influence using clustering technique toward writing basic sentence skill to third class of hearing impairment students in SDLB-B Karya Mulia I Surabaya”.
