PENINGKATAN HASIL BELAJAR MEMBACA MELALUI MEDIA NOTE BOOK COMPUTER DALAM PEMBELAJARAN BAHASA INDONESIA BAGI ANAK TUNAGRAHITA RINGAN
Abstract
Abstract: The reading skill of low mental disordered children needs sto be improved. They do not get trouble in their articulation, but their vocabularies cannot run well. Therefore, they get difficulties in communicating with other, in the learning process of Indonesia language, they get difficulties. Therefore, the result of their learning is very low. In the learning process through notebook, the children will read easily. It can improve their confidence because they can read through this media and their skill is not different from other children. This research aims to know the improvement of the reading skill through note bppk for the low mental retarded children. The subjects of this research are 5 children of fourth grade at Delta Sejahtera inclusive school Tanggulangin Sidoarjo. This research is a classroom action research (CAR) by using the cycles for the design. The learning process is conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of two meetings. Each meeting is conducted in 60 minutes. The data collecting methods used are observation and test. The data is analyzed by using the average score. The result of the research shows that there is an improvement. It can be proven from the children’s activity in the learning process. In the first cycle, the result is 2.55% in the first meeting and it become 3.22% in the second meeting. In the second cycle, the result is 12.13% in the first meeting and it becomes 17.9% in the second meeting. Based on the result, it can be concluded that there is an improvement of the reading skill of low mental disordered children at fourth grade through notebook in the process of Indonesia Language Learning.
