Based on the observation result in the field, the fourth class of blind children in SLB-YPAB Tegalsari Surabaya had difficulty in adding fraction material in mathematic subject. This could be seen from the learning result, low exam value. To help the learning it required suitable and interesting learning approach. This research was done with the purpose i.e. to analyze the influence of realistic mathematics approach of toward learning result of adding fraction to the fourth class of blind children.
The experiment design was the one group pre test and post test. The method used to collect the data was test method. To analyze the research data it applied analysis techique of statistic non parametric (sign test).
The pre test result of children’s average value was 37,6 then it was given treatment eight times. The children were then given post test with average value 59,7. The average value of pre test and post test indicated that there was value change to be better and the children’s critic thinking enhanced. From the value above, it was then analyzed using sign test formula with Ztable 5% one side test 1,64 and two side test 1,96. The Z value obtained in counting was = 2,05 so that it could be concluded that “there was positive influence of realistic mathematics approach of toward learning result of adding fraction to the fourth class of blind children in SLB-A YPAB Tegalsari Surabaya” with value = 2,05 > Ztable 5% 1,96.
