Abstract
This research motivated by low receptive language ability of children with autism are different than with regular children. Those children get difficulties in understanding and doing the instruction to hold, take, and put in something. The low receptive language ability of children with autism has bad influence for the development aspects for the child. The purpose of this research to prove that the floortime method by using hanoi tower game affect the receptive language ability of child with autism in Special Needs School Harapan Bunda Surabaya.
The design used in this research is Single Subject Research (SSR) with the A-B design pattern. Subject in this research were 3 year old child with autism in Special Needs School Harapan Bunda Surabaya. Techniques for collecting data in this research using the observation and documentation. Data analysis in this research are using visual data analysis in conditions and visual data analysis between conditions.
The result of research showed a change that improved showed the influence of the intervention on the target behavior, it can be concluded that the method by media hanoi tower game gave significant influence on the receptive language ability child with autism.
