INTERAKSI SOSIAL ANAK AUTIS DENGAN METODE BERMAIN PERAN DI SLB

Abstract

ABSTRACT

Social interaction was social relation which correlated to interaction among individual, individual to group, and group to group included autism children. Autism children had disorder one of them was social interaction. Therefore, to enhance the social interaction of autism children could develop. One of the methods which could be used increase the social interaction of autism children was play role method.

This research purpose was to enhance social interaction of autism children be using play role method in SLB Putra Mandiri Surabaya. This research used Single Subject Research (SSR) appoarch with A-B design. The data collection method applied direct observation and event recording in each response toward behaviour target.

By data analysis result it was obtanined that on baseline (A) the long condition used was 5 sessions (meeting) while on intervention phase (B) the long condition given was 10 sessions (meeting). The stability tendency on each condition was on baseline phase (A) the data was static with pecentange 60% while on intervention phase (B) the data was stable with percentange 80%. On the line tendency and line data estimation the graphic line was flat (=) on baseline phase (A) while on intervention phase (B) the line graphic enhanched (+). It could be concluded that the play role method could be used to enhance social interaction of autism children in SLB Putra Mandiri Surabaya.
