Abstract

Concentration is a process of learning science to focus the learning process to follow which discusses classify animals based on the type of food until learning is completed and committed over a period of time without easily distracted. If students have difficulty in concentrating when studying science, then student achievement will be hampered. Therefore we need a game that can increase the concentration of science learning, using a puzzle game.
The purpose of this study is to increase the concentration of science teaching and learning science to analyze the results before and after the game against the concentration of science learning puzzle of Cerebral Palsy students learn science class IV-D1 YPAC SDLB Surabaya. The design used in this research was single subject research (SSR) with the A-B-A design pattern. The subject in this research were 11 year old student cerebral palsy in SDLB-D1 YPAC Surabaya. The subjects in this study were students of cerebral palsy (BTG) class IV-D1YPAC SDLB Surabaya.
The results showed that the baseline phase (A1) is given as much as 5 times the concentration of the meeting and cerebral palsy students learn science is still around 6-7 minutes, the intervention phase (B) was given 10 times the concentration of the meeting and cerebral palsy learn science students has risen 15-18 minutes, whereas the baseline phase (A2) is given as much as 5 times the concentration of the meeting and cerebral palsy learn science students has increased compared to the baseline phase (A1) risen 14-15 minutes. This is consistent with the percentage of overlap of only 10% means that a given intervention may increase the concentration of cerebral palsy students learn science.
It can be concluded that the puzzle game can increase the concentration of cerebral palsy students learn science.
