Sex education is important for deaf adolescents to understand proper and appropriate boundaries in friendships. The benefits of sex education include raising awareness about healthy relationships and providing an understanding of recognizing signs of inappropriate behavior. This study aims to demonstrate the impact of using animated videos in teaching sex education to deaf adolescents at SLB-B Karya Mulia Surabaya. The research employs a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental one-group pre-test post-test design. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using the Wilcoxon Matched Pairs Test formula. With a significance level of 0.05, an Asymp.Sig (2-tailed) value of 0.018 was obtained, indicating a significant effect of using animated video media in teaching sex education to deaf adolescents at SLB-B Karya Mulia Surabaya. The implications of this study are that animated video media can combine visual and audio elements to present concepts in a simpler and more engaging way, making students more interested and involved, thus making the message more effectively communicated and absorbed. It also helps simplify complex material concepts, making them easier to understand for deaf students
