PENGARUH MODEL PROJECT BASED LEARNING BERMEDIA VIDEO TUTORIAL DALAM MENINGKATKAN KETERAMPILAN VOKASIONAL TATA BOGA BAGI SISWA DISABILITAS INTELEKTUAL DI SLB C AKW II SURABAYA
Abstract
Vocational learning is useful for increasing independence and potential that can support the
welfare of students with disabilities after graduating from school. The purpose of this study
was to prove the effect of the project-based learning model using video tutorial media on
improving vocational culinary skills for students with intellectual disabilities at SLB-C AKW
II Surabaya. The study used a quantitative approach, a pre-experimental type with one group
pretest posttest design. The subjects in the study were ten students with intellectual disabilities.
Data collection techniques were in the form of written tests and performance tests. Data
analysis techniques were the Wilcoxon test. The results of data analysis using the Wilcoxon
test obtained an Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.005 <0.05. This shows that vocational
culinary skills for students with intellectual disabilities at SLB C AKW II Surabaya have
increased after the project-based learning model using video tutorial media was implemented.
The implications of the results of this study are increasing cooperation between students, being
able to support critical, creative, flexible and original thinking, the existence of information
and media literacy, facilitating the provision of materials for students and fostering a desire to
understand something new, improving skills, independence and quality of learning in schools.
