PENGARUH METODE GAME BASED LEARNING BERMEDIA WORDWALL TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN MENGENAL ISYARAT HURUF HIJAIAH PADA PESERTA DIDIK TUNARUNGU DI SLB-B KARYA MULIA SURABAYA
Abstract
Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode game based learning bermedia
wordwall terhadap kemampuan mengenal isyarat huruf hijaiah pada peserta didik tunarungu
di SLB-B Karya Mulia Surabaya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan
desian pre-eksperimental one grup pretest posttest. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes unjuk kerja
dan tes tulis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan, dengan rata-rata nilai
pretest adalah 55,97 meningkat menjadi 93,84 pada nilai posttest. Teknik analisis data
menggunakan uji statistik non parametrik Wilcoxon Match Pairs Test dengan taraf signifikan
0.05 diperoleh Asymp.Sig (2-tailed) 0.028, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode game
based learning bermedia wordwall memberikan pengaruh terhadap kemampuan mengenal
isyarat huruf hijaiah pada peserta didik tunarungu di SLB-B Karya Mulia Surabaya. Simpulan
dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat pengaruh terhadap kemampuan mengenal isyarat huruf
hijaiah pada peserta didik tunarungu di SLB-B Karya Mulia Surabaya.

The study aimed to determine the effect of the wordwall-based game-based learning method on the ability
to recognize hijaiyah letter signs among deaf students at Special school Karya Mulia Surabaya. The
research method used was quantitative with a pre-experimental one-group pretest-posttest design. Data
were collected through performance tests and written tests. The results showed a significant
improvement, with the average pretest score of 55.97 increasing to 93.84 on the posttest. Data analysis
techniques used the non-parametric Wilcoxon Match Pairs Test with a significance level of 0.05, yielding
an Asymp.Sig (2-tailed) of 0.028. Therefore, it can be concluded that the game-based learning method
using Wordwall has an effect on the ability to recognize Arabic alphabet signs among deaf students at
Special School Karya Mulia Surabaya. The conclusion of this study is that there is an effect on the ability
to recognize Hijaiyah letter signs among deaf students at Special School Karya Mulia Surabaya.
