PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA FLASHCARD BERBASIS AUGMENTED REALITY UNTUK MENDUKUNG PEMAHAMAN KLASIFIKASI HEWAN BERDASARKAN HABITAT PESERTA DIDIK TUNARUNGU

Pembelajaran IPA berperan penting dalam membangun pemahaman ilmiah peserta didik, termasuk peserta didik tunarungu yang memiliki kecenderungan gaya belajar visual. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan media pembelajaran berupa flashcard berbasis Augmented Reality (AR) untuk mendukung pemahaman klasifikasi hewan berdasarkan habitat. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE yang dibatasi pada tahap Analisis, Desain, dan Pengembangan. Data dikumpulkan melalui validasi oleh ahli materi, ahli media, dan praktisi pendidikan menggunakan instrumen angket, dan dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa media dinyatakan “sangat layak” dengan rata-rata persentase sebesar 95,83% dari para ahli dan 91,66% dari praktisi, berdasarkan aspek isi, visualisasi, dan kemudahan penggunaan. Dengan demikian, media flashcard berbasis Augmented Reality layak digunakan untuk mendukung pemahaman peserta didik tunarungu pada materi klasifikasi hewan berdasarkan habitat.

Absract
Science learning plays an important role in building students’ scientific understanding, including for students with hearing impairments who tend to have a visual learning style. This study aims to develop an instructional media in the form of Augmented Reality (AR)-based flashcards to support students’ understanding of animal classification based on habitat. The research uses a Research and Development (R&D) approach, adapted from the ADDIE development model, which is limited to the Analysis, Design, and Development stages. Data were collected through validation by a subject matter expert, a media expert, and an educational practitioner using a questionnaire instrument, and were analyzed using descriptive quantitative techniques. The validation results indicate that the media is considered “highly feasible,” with an average percentage of 95.83% from experts and 91.66% from practitioners, based on aspects of content feasibility, visual presentation, and ease of use. Therefore, the AR-based flashcard media is considered suitable for supporting hearing-impaired students’ understanding of animal classification by habitat.
