Pengembangan Media E-book Berbasis Social Stories Untuk Pembelajaran Perilaku Adaptif Bagi Disabilitas Intelektual

Pembelajaran perilaku adaptif bermanfaat untuk mendukung kemampuan anak dalam berinteraksi sosial dan menjalani kehidupan sehari-hari secara mandiri serta menumbuhkan kemandirian dan rasa tanggung jawab terhadap diri sendiri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media e-book berbasis social stories untuk pembelajaran perilaku adaptif yang layak bagi disabilitas intelektual. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian Research and Development (R&D) dengan  model ADDIE dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Instrument yang digunakan yaitu angket. Subjek penelitian meliputi ahli materi, media dan praktisi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis statistik deskriptif dengan perhitungan persentase. Hasil uji validasi ahli materi 91,6% dengan kategori sangat layak, hasil uji validasi ahli media 75% dengan kriteria layak, dan hasil uji kepraktisan 89,6% dengan kategori sangat layak. Hasil penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa media e-book berbasis social stories layak digunakan dalam materi pembelajaran  perilaku adaptif bagi disabilitas intelektual.  Implikasi dari penggunaan media ini yaitu mempermudah pemahaman perilaku adaptif, meningkatkan keterlibatan belajar, serta mendorong komunikasi, respons sosial, dan kemandirian siswa disabilitas intelektual.

Abstract

Adaptive behavior learning is beneficial in supporting children's ability to interact socially and live independently in their daily lives, while also fostering self-reliance and a sense of personal responsibility. This study aims to develop a social stories-based e-book as a feasible learning medium for teaching adaptive behavior to students with intellectual disabilities. This research employs a Research and Development (R&D) design using the ADDIE model with both quantitative and qualitative approaches. The instrument used was a questionnaire. The research subjects included material experts, media experts, and practitioners. Data analysis techniques used descriptive statistical analysis with percentage calculations. The validation results showed that material expert validation scored 91.6%, categorized as “very feasible,” media expert validation scored 75%, categorized as “feasible,” and practitioner assessment scored 89.6%, categorized as “very feasible.” These results indicate that the social stories-based e-book is suitable for use in adaptive behavior learning for students with intellectual disabilities.

The implication of using this media is that it facilitates the understanding of adaptive behavior, increases learning engagement, and promotes communication, social responses, and independence among students with intellectual disabilities.
