Abstrak
Keterampilan vokasional penting bagi peserta didik tunagrahita ringan untuk mendukung kemandirian dan
kesiapan menghadapi kehidupan bermasyarakat. Peserta didik tunagrahita ringan memiliki keterbatasan dalam
memahami keterampilan membuat batik ciprat secara mandiri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan
pengaruh penerapan model Project Based Learning (PjBL) terhadap keterampilan vokasional membuat batik
ciprat pada peserta didik tunagrahita ringan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis
penelitian pra-eksperimen dan desain one-group pretest-posttest. Data dikumpulkan hasil tes unjuk kerja yang
dilaksanakan pada dua fase: pretest dan posttest. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji wilcoxon matched pairs test,
yang menunjukkan nilai Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0.026 lebih kecil dari 0.05 (0.028 < 0.05), sehingga Ha
diterima dan H₀ ditolak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh positif model PjBL terhadap
peningkatan keterampilan membuat batik ciprat secara mandiri. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model
Project Based Learning berpengaruh terhadap keterampilan vokasional peserta didik tunagrahita ringan.
Implikasi hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model ini memberikan pembelajaran yang terstruktur, partisipatif,
dan bermakna, serta dapat menjadi alternatif pembelajaran vokasional baik di sekolah maupun di rumah.

Abstract
Vocational skills are important for students with mild intellectual disabilities to support their independence and
readiness to face life in society. Students with mild intellectual disabilities have limitations in understanding the
skills required to create batik ciprat independently. This study aims to demonstrate the impact of implementing
the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model on vocational skills in creating batik ciprat among students with mild
intellectual disabilities. The study employs a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental research design and
a one-group pretest-posttest design. Data were collected from performance tests conducted in two phases:
pretest and posttest. Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon matched pairs test, which showed an Asymp. Sig.
(2-tailed) value of 0.026, which is less than 0.05 (0.028 < 0.05), thus accepting Ha and rejecting H₀. The results
of the study indicate a positive effect of the PjBL model on improving independent batik-making skills. It can be
concluded that the application of the Project-Based Learning model has an effect on the vocational skills of
students with mild intellectual disabilities. The implications of the study results show that this model provides
structured, participatory, and meaningful learning and can be an alternative for vocational learning both at
school and at home.
