Abstract

Abstrak

Regulasi emosi bermanfaat dalam kehidupan terutama dalam mengatur emosi secara baik. Peserta didik autis seringkali mengalami tantangan dalam mengatur emosi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan pengaruh Social Emotional Learning (SEL) terhadap kemampuan regulasi emosi peserta didik autis di SD Labschool Unesa 2. Pendekatan penelitian ini kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian pre-eksperimen. Desain penelitian yang digunakan yaitu One-group pretest-posttest design dengan menggunakan instrument tes perbuatan dan menggunakan 6 subjek peserta didik autis di SD Labschool Unesa 2. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji statistik non parametrik wilcoxon matched pairs test dengan taraf signifikan 0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Asymp.Sig (2-tailed) 0,028 sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa Social Emotional Learning berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan kemampuan regulasi emosi peserta didik autis. Implikasi dari penelitian ini yaitu Social Emotional Learning (SEL) bermanfaat pada kemampuan regulasi emosi peserta didik autis dalam mengenalan emosi dan teknik untuk meredakan emosi dengan menggunakan media papan emosi dan mengenalkan keterampilan sosial kepada peserta didik autis.

Abstract

Emotional regulation is beneficial in life, especially in managing emotions well. Students with autism often experience challenges in regulating their emotions. This study aims to prove the effect of Social Emotional Learning (SEL) on the emotional regulation abilities of students with autism at SD Labschool Unesa 2. This study uses a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental research design. The research design used was a one-group pretest-posttest design using a behavior test instrument and six autistic students at SD Labschool Unesa 2 as subjects. Data analysis techniques used the Wilcoxon matched pairs test nonparametric statistical test with a significance level of 0.05. The results showed an Asymp.Sig (2-tailed) of 0.028, indicating that Social Emotional Learning has an effect on improving the emotional regulation abilities of autistic students. The implication of this study is that Social Emotional Learning (SEL) is beneficial for the emotional regulation abilities of autistic students in recognizing emotions and techniques for calming emotions and techniques for calming emotions using an emotion board.
