 In the lives of deaf children reading is an excellent means of communication. With reading comprehension (receptive) children be guided in order to finally be able to understand the content of the reading without the help of others. He himself should try mengrtikan words or sentences recently as well as be able to understand the relationship between other sentences with one sentence. By Van Uden reading comprehension (receptive) also called "Visio ideal Reading" IE acquiring new ideas through visual nature writing emblem. In addition teachers must be good at selecting methods or strategies used to make students actively involved in the learning process so that students will be more easily and quickly understand the content of the readings are being read, the method is the Maternal Reflective Method (MMR). With the Maternal Reflective Method (MMR), language proficiency (listening, speaking, reading and writing) deaf disabilities developed through conversations, language phrases that have not been captured perfectly from the utterance, then written or visualized in the form of writing that she had then. The general objective of this research is to improve the ability of reading comprehension with the Maternal Reflective method (MMR) for deaf children and the specific purpose of this research is to improve the ability of reading comprehension with the Maternal Reflective Method (MMR) Deaf School Outstanding students (SLB) Muhammadiyah class V in Lamongan.The research method used is descriptive qualitative approach to research class act, namely the study of the problems of the scope which is not too broad in relation to a specific problem or a study done in class. The results of this research show that the use of the Maternal Reflective Method (MMR) in learning reading comprehension (receptive) get an increase in students in the class of deaf V SLB Muhammadiyah Lamongan. After the action was held by reading comprehension exercises augment (receptive) with the Maternal Reflective Method (MMR) and reproduce practice reading comprehension questions. Conditioning is based on the results obtained at the action cycle I reached 55%, and cycle II 71,25%, this means demonstrating the existence of an increase based on the results of the specified KKM 60%.
