Abstract

ABSTRACT
An ADHD child was a disorder of focusing attention and hyperactivity. Common people often called as hyperactive child only. The focising attention ability of ADHD children was low. It appeared to the concentration ability of ADHD children in SLB Dharma Wanita Ujung Pangkah Gresik was still low. By using video media toward learning result of reading hijaiyah alphabet it could stimulate children to be able to study more actively and calmly.
This research had purpose to know the influence of using video media toward learning result of reading hijaiyah alphabet to the third class of ADHD children in SLB Dharma Wanita ujung pangkah Gresik. This reasearch used quantitative appoarch with pre-eksperiment and One Group, Pretest – posttest designs. The data collection used behavior tes to know reading hijaiyah alphabet ability of ADHD children before and after giving treatment so that is was known whether there was influence of using video media toward learning result of reading hijaiyah alphabet to ADHD children or not. The data analysis used sign test formula.
The research result indicated that there was enhancemen of learning result score of reading hijaiyah alphabet to ADHD children. In pre test it was 44.33 and in post test is become 81.33. 5% Z table to two sides tes was 1.96. Zh score obtained was 2.05, this meant that there was sicnificant influence of using video media toward learning result of reading hijaiyah alphabet to ADHD children in SLB Dhrama Wanita Ujung Pangkah Gresik.
