PARACHUTE PLAY (BERMAIN PARASUT) TERHADAP PENGEMBANGAN PERILAKU SOSIAL ANAK AUTIS

Abstract
Autism children had disable in social behavior. It appeared to the disable in sharing, cooperating, and joining activity with their peers. The problem formulation of this research was “was there the influence of parachute play toward social behavior of autism children in SLB Purna Yudha Bakti Surabaya.
The design used in this research was single subject research (SSR). The subject was one autism child in SLB Purna Yudha Bakti Surabaya who had disable in sharing, cooperating, and joining activity with their peers.the data collection technique used was visual analysis inside condition and among condition.
The research result indicated that in baseline phase, the social behavior of autism child indicated unstable behavior. The child’s social behavior indicated frequency only 6 times every 30 minutes. After applying parachute play by playing large and colorful fabric with friends in the class of autism children the child indicated more frequency the social behavior between 19 times every 30 minutes.
Based on the result of visual analysis inside condition it indicated enhancing change and visual analysis among condition indicated there was positif influence from intervention toward social behavior of autism children so it could be concluded that parachute play influenced toward social behavior to autism children in SLB Purna Yudha Bakti Surabaya.
