TEKNIK TOKEN ECONOMIC TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN PENJUMLAHANPADA ANAK TUNAGRAHITA RINGAN
Abstract
ABSTRACT
Token economy is an attitude modification technique by means of giving a chip (or a sign, a cue) as
soon as possible each time a target attitude raises. This technique is given in order to children
motivated to conduct an activity that asked by the teacher to achieve goal of learning.
This research aims to know whether token economic technique influences summation competence
to mild mentally disabled children in “Yayasan Sosial dan Pendidikan Khusus SD Putra Harapan
Sidoarjo”. This research uses pre experiment design with one group pre test post test design
which is an experiment conducted in a group without control group or comparison group. To obtain
the desired data, author uses data collection method of observation and test. Then, data is analyzed
using non parametric statistical data analysis with quantitative data and amount of sample is
lower than 30 that is n = 6. And formula used in this research is marked rank test statistic with
wilcoxon formula.
Result of data analysis indicates that Z calculated is bigger than Z table that is Z calculated is
2.202 and Z table with critical score α = 5% is 1.96 so that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted.
This means there is significant influence on token economic technique application to mathematics
competence on mild mentally disable children grade one in “Yayasan Sosial dan Pendidikan
Khusus SD Putra Harapan Sidoarjo”.
