It appeared in the orientation and mobility of blind students of class I in SLB-A YPAB Tegal Sari Surabaya which was still low.
Through direct learning model with outdoor setting, blind students was stimulated to build mobility orientation skill and ability which was required as learning media in the form of direct learning which was covered by outdoor setting. This research had purpose to know the influence value of direct learning model with outdoor setting toward mobility orientation ability to the blind students of class I in SLB-A YPAB Tegal Sari Surabaya. This research used quantitative with pre experimental and one group pretest-posttest designs. The data collection used oral and treatment tests to assess the mobility orientation ability of blind students before and after giving treatment so that it was known whether there was influence of direct learning model with outdoor setting toward mobility orientation of class I blind students or not.
