MEDIA PUZZLE HURUF BRAILLE TERHADAPPENGENALAN ABJAD PADA ANAK TUNANETRAKELAS TK
Abstract
ABSTRACT
Based on the observation result, the blind children’s ability in recognizing alphabet was still low. It could be
viewed from the children’s ability in answering question they were still low. One of the influencing factors was learning
process which did not use an exact media so that the children felt bored and less spirit in learning process.
Based on the problem above, this research had purpose to know the influence of Braille font puzzle media toward
the learning result of alphabet introduction to kindergarten class of blind children in YPAB Tegalsari Surabaya. The
time used in this research was 10 times meeting with 7 times treatment.
This research used pre experiment with one group pre-test post-test design. The data collection method was done
by test. The data analysis used statistic non parametric with sign test formula.
From the data analysis result Zh = 2,05 it was greater than critic value Zt 5% i.e. 1,96 so that Ho was refused and
Ha was accepted. Based on the explanation above, it could be concluded that there was significant influence of Braille
font puzzle media toward learning result of alphabet introduction to kindergarten class of blind children in YPAB
Tegalsari Surabaya.
