Penggunaan Metode Demonstrasi Terhadap Kemampuan Menyikat Gigi Pada Anak ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder)

ABSTRACT
ADHD childern were those who had three main problem i.e. hyperactivity, implusivity, and less attention. The
problem made ADHD childern get difficulty in focusing attention or concentration well e.g. failed to notice well
toward some detail things or made mistake in school assignment and other activities too one of them was in self guide
lesson as brushing teeth which the implication consisted of several ways level and technique which should be noticed.
This research aimed to know the ability and skill of childern brushing teeth.
The researcher used quantitative approach with one group pre test post test design. The subjects numbered 5
ADHD childern. For data analysis it was used statistic non parametric formula with sign test kind and the data
collection method used observation and test.
Form the pre test post test result it could be concluded that the childern’s learning result in brushing teeth got
enhancement, it was proved before giving treatment the average result obtained 47,99 and after giving treatment the
post test result enhanced to be 89,32. Based on the data analysis result obtained Z counted (2,236) while Z table value
was 1,96 so that Z counted (2,236) was greater than Z table (1,96) it meant that null hypothesis (Ho) was refused and
work hypothesis (Ha) which stated that there was significant influe of demonstration method toward brushig teeth to
ADHD childern in SLB Mutiara Hati Sidoarjo was accepted. In this way it could be concluded that demonstration
learning method influenced toward brushing ability to ADHD childern in SLB Mutiara Hati Sidoarjo.
