Penggunaan Program Pengajaran Remedial Terhadap Kemampuan Menulis Kalimat Sederhana Siswa Tunagrahita
Abstract
ABSTRACT
Writing simple sentences was a skill or potential in delivery message activity on writing consisting of simple words or phases with an subyek (S), predicate (P), object (O), and Complement (K). If the disorder of writing sentences to students with intellectual impairment student was no handled the students would get disorder in idea cast by means of writing simple sentences in the daily living. Intellectual impairment students was an individual who had less or lost of intellectual (cognitive) and other skill adaptive include language, social skill, adaptation with circles area and another of abstract characteristic.
The purpose of the research is to analyze writing simple sentences ability of intellectual impairment students before and after giving intervention using remedial teaching program. The time used in this research was 10 times meeting with 1 time pre post, 8 times intervention, and 1 time pos tes. The design used was one group pre test post test design with 6 students as the subjects. The data colleting method was done by test and documentation. The data analysis was statistic non parametric using sign test.
From the research result which was then analyzed by using sign test, Z count is 2,05, Z table for 5% in one tail test (Zt=1,64) and two tiles (Zt=1,96). Therefore, Ho is rejected (1,64<2,05>1,96). Based on the description above, it can be concluded that there remedial teaching program has a significant effect to the ability to write simple sentences in intellectual impairment student at SLB-C Putra Harapan Bojonegoro.
