MENURUNKAN PERILAKU HIPERAKTIF MELALUI TOKEN ECONOMIC PADA ANAK AUTIS

Autism impacts to growth disorder cause of brain defect so that influence to communication, behavior, and social interaction disorder. Behavior disorder happened to autism children was hyperactive behavior which was signed that children could not be calm. The children often left the seat during learning activity. If let it go, it would disturb the children’s concentration and learning process could not be done effectifely. Therefore, it required a teratment which could deerease the hyperactive behavior of autism children. One of the behavior modification techmiques which hoped that could decrease the hyperactive behavior of autism children was token economic. Using conditioned reinforcement which called token economic, the children’s behavior not to leave their seat could be optimized.
The purpose of this research was to descrease hyperactive behavior of autism children in Putra Harapan special school Sidoarjo with token economic.
This research used Single Subject Research (SSR) with A-B basic design and the dat collection technique in this research was observation and documentation methods. The data collected from the observation result was analyzed with simply descriptive statistic i.e. using visual analysis component inside condition and among condition.
This research was done for 19 sessions to the first subject, and 13 sessions to the second subject with the data collectin method, documentation and observation. From the research result, stability level and baseline phase range indicated variable data or unstable with 2-4 range of stability tendency 60% to the first subject and 1-3 range of stability tendency 40% to the second subject while in intervention phase it indicated stable dat with 0-3 range of stability tendency 85,71% to the first subject and 1-2 range with stability tendency 87,55% to the second subject. The overlap data percentage indicated 7,143% to the first subject and 12,5% to the second subject, it indicated that the intervention influenced foward behavior target. In this way, it could be concluded that there was decreasing hyperactive behavior to autism children through token economic.
