PENRAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE TPS (THINK PAIR SHARE) UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA PADA MATA PELAJARAN IPS DI SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract

Abstrak: Latar belakang penelitian ini yaitu rendahnya hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS khususnya pada kelas V SDN Kedunggede I Dlanggu Kabupaten Mojokerto. Hal ini terjadi karena guru belum terbiasa menerapkan model pembelajaran inovatif, materi yang disampaikan masih bersifat konvensional tanpa mendapatkan informasi-informasi atau materi yang terbaru yang dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dalam kegiatan pembelajaran dan juga diduga karena guru masih memiliki pemikiran bahwa pembelajaran hanya terpusat pada dirinya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS (Think Pair Share) untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa, aktivitas guru, aktivitas siswa, dan respon siswa.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang menggunakan teknik analisis data deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif.Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode observasidan angket.Aktivitas guru mengalami peningkatan selama tiga siklus, pada siklus I yaitu 79,2%, pada siklus II meningkat 91,67% dan pada siklus III menjadi 94,16%. Peningkatan juga terjadi pada aktivitas siswa dari siklus satu sampai siklus tiga yaitu 51,78%, 87,5%, 92,8%. Hasil belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan pada siklus satu mencapai 55%% pada siklus dua mencapai 80%, dan meningkat pada siklus tiga menjadi 90%. Respon yang diberikan siswa dari siklus satu yaitu 78,5%, pada siklus II yaitu 90% dan  pada siklus tiga menjadi 90%. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa mata pelajaran IPS  kelas V SDN Kedunggede I Dlanggu Kabupaten Mojokerto.

Abstract: The background of this researchwas the lack of the result of student’s studythe subject of social study, especially in the class of V SDNKedunggede I Dlanggu Mojokerto region .It happened because the teachers were not used to apply innovative learning model, material that was presented still conventional without updating the information which could develop the result of students study in the learning activities and also presumably because the teachers still thought that learning should becentered on their selves.The purpose of thisresearch was researcher used the TPS (Think Pair Share) cooperative learning model to develop the result of students study, teacher activities, student activities and student’s responses.The research method was the class action research method which was used data analysis technique of descriptive qualitative and quantitative. Data collection techniques were using observation and questionnaires methods. Teacher activities increased during the three cycles , the cycle I is 79,2 % , the cycle II increased by 91,67 % and the cycles III94,16 % . The progress also occurred in the student activitiesfrom cycle I to cycle III , namely 51,78 %, 87,5 %, 92,8 %. The result of students study has increased in cycle I55 %,  cycle two 80 %, and the cycle III 92 %. The response given by the students from the cycles I 78,5 %, the cycle II90 % and the cycle III 90 %. It could be concluded that the application of TPS (Think Pair Share) cooperative learning model coulddevelopthe result of students studyin social studies class of V SDN Kedunggede I Dlanggu Mojokerto Region.
