PENGGUNAAN MEDIA MISTAR BILANGAN UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR PENJUMLAHAN BILANGAN BULAT SISWA SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract

Abstrak: Hasil belajar penjumlahan bilangan bulat siswa kelas V SDN Sawunggaling VII Surabaya masih rendah. Terbukti dari hasil evaluasi penjumlahan bilangan bulat dari 37 siswa hanya 15 siswa (41%) yang tuntas mencapai KKM 70, sedangkan 22 siswa (59%) belum tuntas. Untuk mengatasinya, digunakan media mistar bilangan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan aktivitas guru dan aktivitas siswa dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran penjumlahan bilangan bulat dengan menggunakan media mistar bilangan pada siswa kelas  V SDN Sawunggaling VII Surabaya, dan mendeskripsikan hasil belajar penjumlahan bilangan bulat siswa kelas V . Rancangan penelitian yang dilakukan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan prosedur penelitian: perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan observasi, dan refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi dan tes. Selanjutnya data yang telah terkumpul akan dianalisis secara kuantitatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian penggunaan media mistar bilangan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar penjumlahan bilangan bulat bagi siswa kelas V SDN Sawunggaling VII Surabaya pada siklus I menunjukkan bahwa, persentase ketercapaian aktivitas guru sebesar 73,75% sedangkan pada siklus II sebesar 92,5%. Ketercapaian aktivitas siswa pada siklus I sebesar 78,67% sedangkan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 87,79%. Hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I sebanyak 62,16% siswa telah tuntas, kemudian pada siklus II sebanyak 83,78% telah tuntas, maka terjadi peningkatan. Dari hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media mistar bilangan dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar penjumlahan bilangan bulat bagi siswa kelas V SDN Sawunggaling VII Surabaya.

Abstract: The learning outcomes of the sum of the integers from the fifth grade students in Children Elementary School Sawunggaling VII Surabaya still low. Evident from the result of the evaluation of 37 students,only 15 students (41%) who completed the standard value reaches 70, while 22 students (59%) have not been complete. To overcome its, used the number bar media.The purpose of this assesment are to describe the activity of the teacher and students in the implementation of learning the integers sum by using number bar media to the fith grade students in Children Elementary School Sawunggaling VII Surabaya, to describe the learning outcomes of the integers sum of the fifth. The design of the research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with the research procedures:planing, implementation and observation, reflection. Data collection techniques used were observation and testing. Furthermore, the data that has been collected will be analyzed quantitatively. Based on the results of the research by using the number bar media to improve the learning result of the integers sum of the fifth grade in Children Elementary School Sawunggaling VII Surabaya. In the firts cycle showed that the percentage of achievement of the teacher activity as much as 73,75%, while in the second cycle as much as 92,5. The achievement of the students activity in the first cycle as much as 78,67% while in the second cycle increase 87,79%. The students learning result in the first cycle as much as 83,78% has been completed. From these result we can conlude that using number bar media can increase tha learning outcomes of the sum of integers to the fifth grade students in Children Elementary School Sawunggaling VII Surabaya.
