PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE STAD UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR KELAS I SDN UJUNG X SURABAYA

Abstract

Abstrak: Penggunaan model pembelajaran yang tepat merupakan salah satu faktor keberhasilan dari suatu proses pembelajaran. Model pembelajaran mengacu pada pendekatan pembelajaran yang akan digunakan. termasuk di dalamnya tujuan-tujuan pengajaran. tahap-tahap dalam kegiatan pembelajaran, lingkungan pembelajaran dan pengelolaan kelas. Berdasarkan observasi peneliti di SDN Ujung X Surabaya tempat peneliti mengajar. dalam pembelajaran guru masih menggunakan metode atau model pembelajaran lama. Guru hanya menggunakan metode ceramah. sedangkan siswa hanya duduk diam dan mendengarkan penjelasan guru, Hal ini rnembuat pembelajaran menjadi membosankan dan mengakibatkan rendahnya nilai hasil belajar siswa yang masih di bawah KKM. Oleh karena itu. ditawarkan solusi untuk rnengatasi permasalahan ini yaitu dengan penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dalam pembelajaran. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang terdiri dari 2 siklus. Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru dan siswa kelas I SDN Ujung X Surabaya yang berjumlah 40 siswa. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui observasi, tes, dan catatan lapangan. Data observasi kegiatan pembelajaran dianalisis dalam bentuk persentase dan nilai rata-rata kegiatan pembelajaran. Data tes hasil belajar siswa dianalisis dengan menjumlahkan nilai setiap aspek yang dinilai dan berdasarkan persentase ketuntasan belajar klasikal. Data catatan lapangan yang berisi berbagai kendala dianalisis kemudian dicari solusinya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas guru pada siklus 1 sebesar 76,88% dan meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 85%. Aktivitas siswa dalam pembelajaran juga mengalami peningkatan. Pada siklus I aktivitas siswa mencapai 75,78% dan pada siklus II aktivitas siswa mencapai 84.38%. Sementara itu hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I mencapai 65% dan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 92,50%. Kesimpulan yang dapat diambil dari penelitian ini adalah penerapan model pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada tema tumbuhan di sekitarku di kelas I SDN Ujung X Surabaya.

Abstract : The appropriate learning model was one of success factors in a learning process. The learning model refers to the used learning approach, included the purposes of teaching, steps in learning process, learning environment and the class management. Based on the observation in SDN Ujung X Surabaya, the place where the observer teaches, in learning process the teachers still used the old teaching process. The speech method is used in which the students is just listening to the explanation. This method were boring and made students lazy which influences the score of students' achievement. This situation also influences the students' understanding to what is being learned. Students will only understand in the class and forget it after class dismissed. The consequence was the low of students' outcome under the standard score (KKM). Therefore the researcher offer the new solution to solve the lack of minimun criteria by using the cooperative learning model with STAD type. The type of this research is class action research that have goal to breaking the problem in thematic learning process at kinds of plant, parts of plant and the rules of plant, students at first grade Ujung X  elementary school of surabaya layout is using 2 cycle of class action which used 40 students and 1 teacher as subject, the research data took from observation, test, and interview which analyzed in percentage form and average learning score. Students' test data were analyzed by summing the assessed value of each aspect based on the percentage of completeness and classical learning. The data field which contain of various problems were analyzed and found the solution. The result of this research showed lhatjeachers' activites on cycle I 76,88% and it increased on cycle II 85%. Students' learning process also increase. On cycle I students' activities reach 75,78% and on cycle II it becomes 84,38%. While the students' learning outcome on cycle I 65% and on cycle II it increases to 92.50%. The conclusion taken from this research was the implementation of contextual teaching and learning model increased the first grade students outcome on the theme of plants surround me SDN Ujung X Surabaya.
