PENINGKATAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA KELAS II SDN ALUN-ALUN CONTONG I/87 SURABAYA MELALUI PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF STAD DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN MEDIA AUDIO VISUAL

Abstract

Abstrak: Berdasarkan pencermatan yang dilakukan oleh peneliti melalui observasi di lapangan terhadap realitas pembelajaran IPA dengan materi pembelajaran mengidentifikasi tempat hidup makhluk hidup yang berlangsung di SDN Alun-Alun Contong I/87 Surabaya menunjukkan bahwa masih terdapat kelemahan pada proses pembelajaran IPA yang mengakibatkan menurunnya hasil belajar siswa. Kelemahan pembelajaran IPA yang ditemui di sekolah ini adalah bahwa pembelajaran tersebut lebih menekankan pada penguasaan sejumlah fakta dan konsep, tetapi kurang menfasilitasi siswa agar memiliki hasil belajar yang komprehensif dan bermakna. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah:(1) Mendeskripsikan keterlaksanaan pembelajaran IPA dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif STAD dengan penggunaan media audio visual; (2) Mendeskripsikan hasil belajar siswa kelas II SDN Alun-Alun Contong I/87 Surabaya setelah mengikuti pembelajaran IPA dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif STAD dengan media audio visual; dan (3) Mendeskripsikan kendala apa yang muncul dan bagaimana cara mengatasi saat pelaksanaan pembelajaran IPA dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif STAD dengan penggunaan media audio visual. Jenis penelitian ini adalah PTK (Penelitian Tindakan Kelas). Terdapat empat tahap dalam PTK yang meliputi : perencanaan, tindakan, pengamatan, dan refleksi dalam setiap siklus. Jumlah siklus pembelajaran dibentuk berdasarkan ketercapaian indikator keberhasilan dalam penelitian. Hasil penelitian dapat dilihat dari persentase peningkatan ketuntasan belajar siswa yaitu sebesar 24%, yaitu 70% pada siklus I menjadi 94,5% pada siklus II. Selain itu perkembangan hasil belajar siswa pada aspek afektif, dan psikomotor juga mengalami peningkatan 25% yaitu 70% pada siklus I menjadi 95% pada siklus II, jadi lebih dari 85% siswa dalam satu kelas memperolehan hasil belajar yang telah mencapai kriteria ketuntasan minimal (KKM) untuk mata pelajaran IPA, yang telah ditetapkan oleh peneliti yaitu 75. Jadi dapat di simpulkan rata-rata kelas pada siklus I dan siklus II mengalami peningkatan.

Abstract: Under scrutiny by researchers through field observations of reality science learning by identifying learning material of living things which take place in SDN Alun-Alun Contong I/87 cone Surabaya shows that there are still weaknesses in the science learning process that resulted in the decrease of student learning outcomes . Weaknesses encountered science teaching in this school is that learning is more emphasis on the mastery of a number of facts and concepts, but less facilitating student learning outcomes in order to have a comprehensive and meaningful . The purpose of this study is : ( 1 ) Describe the feasibility of learning science by implementing STAD cooperative learning model with the use of audio-visual media, (2 ) Describe the student learning outcomes SDN class II Alun-Alun Contong I/87 cone Surabaya after following learning science by applying the learning model STAD cooperative with audio-visual media, and ( 3 ) to describe any problems that arise and how to cope with the current implementation of learning science by implementing STAD cooperative learning model with the use of audio-visual media. This research is TOD (Classroom Action Research). There are four stages in a TOD that includes: planning, action, observation, and reflection in each cycle. The number of learning cycles formed by the achievement indicators of success in research. The results of the study can be seen from the increase in the percentage of students passing grade is 24%, ie 70% in the first cycle to 94.5% in the second cycle. In addition to the development of student learning outcomes in the affective aspects, and psychomotor also increased 25%, ie 70% in the first cycle to 95% in the second cycle, so more than 85% of students in one class memperolehan learning outcomes that have reached the minimum completeness criteria (KKM ) for teaching science, which has been established by researchers that 75. So it can be concluded the class average on the first cycle and second cycle increased.
