PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS PROJEK UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KETERAMPILAN MENULIS EKSPOSISI KELAS IV DI SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract

Abstrak: Berdasarkan hasil observasi dan wawancara,hasil belajar menulis menunjukkan bahwa siswa kesulitan menemukan ide/topik, kesulitan untuk mengembangkan karangan, keruntutan karangan, dan banyak kesalahan penulisan dalam ejaan dan huruf kapital yang kurang tepat. Terbukti sebanyak  27 siswa dari 39 siswa atau 69,23% siswa belum memenuhi KKM Bahasa Indonesia yaitu 70. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan pembelajaran keterampilan menulis eksposisi dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran berbasis projek, hasil belajar menulis eksposisi, serta kendala-kendala yang dialami guru dan siswa serta cara mengatasinya. .Rancangan penelitian menggunakan rancangan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa dan guru SDN Tandes Lor Surabaya.Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam dua siklus dan setiap siklus terdiri dari tiga tahap yaitu tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan pengamatan, serta refleksi.Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi,tes hasil belajar siswa, dancatatan lapangan.Data yang telah terkumpul dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif dankualitatif.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterlaksanaan pembelajaran pada siklus I mencapai 100% dengan nilai ketercapaian yaitu 78,43. Keterlaksanan pembelajaran pada siklus II juga mencapai 100% dengan nilai ketercapaian yaitu 87,19. Hasil belajar menulis eksposisi siswa pada siklus I mencapai ketuntasan klasikal 66,67% dan pada siklus II ketuntasan klasikal mencapai 84,62%. Kendala-kendala yang dialami pada siklus I dapat diatasi pada siklus II. Dapat dinyatakan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis projek dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menulis eksposisi siswa

Abstract :This research was based on the weak writing skillabout exposition text of student grade IV in Tandes Lor Elementary School Surabaya. Based on the observation and interview which had been done, the writing learning resul indicated that the student was difficult in finding idea/topic, in developing a writing, in making the coherent writing, and in spelling and writing errors of capital letters. This is evidenced around 96,23% (27 students) did not reach the completeness criteria (KKM) of Indonesian subject, it was 70. The purpose of this research were to describe the implementation the writing learning about exposition text by using Project Based Learning model of the student grade IV Tandes Lor Elementary School Surabaya, exposition writing learning result, and the problems of both the teacher and the student and the solving. This research plan used class action research plan. The subject in this research were the student and the teacher in Tandes Lor Elementary School Surabaya. This research was done in two cycles and there are three steps in each, they are plan, implementation and observation, and the reflection. The data collection technique were observation, student learning result test, and field notes. The collected data were analyzed by descriptive quantitative and qualitative. The research result indicated that the implementation of learning in first cycle reached 100% by the score was 78,43. The learning implementation in the second cycle was reached 100% too by the score 87, 19. The learning result of writing exposition of the student in first cycle the classical completeness reached 66,67% and for the second cycle reached 84,62%. The problems in first cycle could be resolved well in second cycle. It can be stated that the implementation of Project Based Learning model could increase the writing skill about exposition text of the student.
