PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE NHT UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR TEMATIK TEMA PERISTIWA SISWA KELAS II SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar siswa kelas II SDN Lidah Wetan II Surabaya yang ditandai dengan persentase hasil belajar siswa yang belum mencapai KKM sebesar 50%. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan pembelajaran menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT, hasil belajar tematik dan kendala-kendala yang muncul selama pembelajaran serta solusinya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Dilakukan menggunakan dua siklus dan setiap siklus terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, rekfleksi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas II SDN Lidah Wetan II Surabaya yang berjumlah 40 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode observasi yang terdiri dari observasi untuk mengamati aktivitas guru dan siswa serta hasil belajar siswa selama proses pemelajaran dianalisis dalam presentase. Aktivitas guru mengalami peningkatan selama pelaksanaan pembelajaran dengan dua siklus, pada siklus I yaitu 63,5% pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 89%. Peningkatan juga terjadi pada aktivitas siswa dari siklus I 63,3% menjadi 85%. Hasil belajar siswa juga mengalami peningkatan dari siklus I sampai siklus II yaitu  55% pada siklus I meningkat menjadi 85% pada siklus II. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar tematik tema peristiwa pada siswa kelas II SDN Lidah Wetan II Surabaya.

Abstract: The background of this research is the low increase learning result on thematic learning, particularly of the second grade elementary school in Lidah Wetan II Surabaya which was pointed out by the number of students that have not reach the standard minimum was 50%. The purpose of this research is to describe the process of learning using cooperative learning tiped NHT, learning result of thematic, the obstacles that arise in learning process and the way to solve. This study uses a Class Action Research using qualitative descriptive research approach. Carried through two cycles and each cycle consists of planning, implementation, observation, reflection. Subjects in this study were two grade students of Lidah Wetan II elementary scholl of Surabaya, amounting to fourthy students. Data collection techniques using the observation sheet to observe the activities of teachers, student activities, and  learning result of students during the learning process is analyzed in percentage. Activities of teachers has increased over increased during the implementation of learning the past two cycles, the first cycles of the 63,5% the increase the 89% in the second cycle. The increase also occurred in the student activity from cycle one to cycle two 63,3% to 85%. Learning result  also showed an increasing of processed learning in the cycle I to II is 55% of cycle I and the second cycle of 85%. It was concluded that the application of cooperative learning model of type NHT can enhance student learning result thematic theme event studies class II SDN Lidah Wetan II Surabaya.
