PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE JIGSAW DALAM MATA PELAJARAN IPA UNTUKMENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA PADA KELAS V SDN KUTISARI II SURABAYA

Abstract

Abstrak: Dalam belajar IPA peserta didik diarahkan untuk membandingkan hasil prediksi peserta didik dengan teori melalui eksperimen dengan menggunakan metode ilmiah. Pendidikan IPA di sekolah diharapkan dapat menjadi wahana bagi peserta didik untuk mempelajari diri sendiri dan alam sekitarnya serta prospek pengembangan lebih lanjut dalam menerapkannya dalam kehidupan sehari–hari yang didasarkan pada metode ilmiah.  Tujuan penelitian ini mendeskripsikan aktivitas guru, aktivitas siswa dan hasil belajar siswa dalam penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas V SDN Kutisari II Surabaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK), yang dilakukan sebanyak dua siklus. Setiap siklus dilaksanakan selama 1 pertemuan (4x35 menit). Kedua siklus tersebut terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan observasi, tes dan  catatan lapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persentase aktivitas guru mengalami peningkatan sebesar 23,2% yaitu 69% pada siklus I dan 92,2% pada siklus II Persentase aktivitas siswa juga mengalami peningkatan sebesar 22,5%, yaitu 67,5% pada siklus I dan 90% pada siklus II. Sementara itu, ketuntasan belajar siswa dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw juga mengalami peningkatan sebesar 13,9%, yaitu 75% pada siklus I dan 88,9% pada siklus II. Persentase angket respon siswa secara keseluruhan menunjukkan hasil yang baik yaitu sebesar 90%. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas V SDN Kutisari II Surabaya.

Abstract: In learning science learners are directed to compare the results with theoretical predictions learners through experiments using the scientific method . Science education in schools is expected to be a vehicle for students to learn about themselves and the natural surroundings as well as the prospects for further development in applying them in everyday life based on scientific method . The purpose of this study describes the activity of the teacher , student activities and student learning outcomes in the application of the Jigsaw cooperative learning model to improve student learning outcomes SDN Kutisari class II Surabaya. This study uses Class Action Research (CAR), which performed a total of two cycles . Each cycle of meetings held during the 1 ( 4x35 minutes ) . The second cycle consists of the planning, implementation , observation and reflection. Data collection techniques in this study using observation , testing and field notes. The results showed that the percentage of teacher activity increased by 23.2 % ie 69 % in the first cycle and 92.2 % in the second cycle of activity Percentage of students also increased by 22.5 % , ie 67.5 % in the first cycle and 90 % in the second cycle. Meanwhile , mastery learning students by implementing cooperative learning model jigsaw also increased by 13.9 % , ie 75 % in the first cycle and 88.9 % in the second cycle . The percentage of the overall student questionnaire responses showed good results in the amount of 90 % . It can be concluded that the application of the Jigsaw cooperative learning model to improve learning outcomes fifth grade students of SDN Kutisari II Surabaya.
