PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF SCRIPT UNTUK MENINGKATKATKAN MOTIVASI DAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA PADA MATA PELAJARAN IPS DI SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract

Abstrak: Pembelajaran IPS merupakan pembelajaran yang mengkaji konsep-konsep yang bersifat abstrak yang berkaitan dengan peristiwa, fakta, dan generalisasi berkaitan dengan isu-isu sosial yang memerlukan pemahaman lebih lanjut dan mendalam, pemahami konsep yang bersifat abstrak ini dapat menimbulkan kejenuhan atau kebosanan yang dapat membuat siswa malas untuk belajar apabila guru tidak mampu memilih model pembelajaran yang mampu memacu siswa aktif dalam belajar dan menumbuhkan semangat atau motivasi. Permasalahan yang dihadapi ketika pembelajaran di kelas V SDN Wonokusumo VI/45 kecamatan Semampir kota Surabaya diantaranya : (1) proses pembelajaran berlangsung kurang kondusif karena banyak siswa yang tidak memperhatikan guru, (2) sebagian besar siswa sering berbicara dengan temannya, menggoda teman yang lain ataupun bermain sendiri, (3) saat guru memberikan dasar tentang materi, respon yang diberikan oleh siswa terkesan malas menjawab ataupun menjawab asal-asalan. Berdasarkan permasalahan diatas maka peneliti melakukan penelitian tindakan kelas untuk membantu memahami konsep pembelajaran IPS dan meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif script. Peneitian tindakan kelas ini menggunakan teknik analisa data deskriptif kuantitatif untuk memaparkan data hasil observasi guru,siswa dan hasil belajar. Setelah dilakukan penelitian selama 2 siklus diperoleh adanya peningkatan aktivitas guru pada siklus I sebesar 73,75%  Meningkat pada siklus II menjadi87,5%,  aktivitas siswa pada siklus I sebesar 75% meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 88,97%. Dan hasil belajar pada siklus I sebesar 77,75% Meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 85%. Hasil ini membuktikan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif script dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS kelas V SDN Wonokusumo VI/45.

Abstract: Social science lessons is learning that examine the concepts that are abstractrelated to events, the fact, and generalizations related to social issues that need more understanding and in-depth, Understanding the concept that is this abstract can cause strains or boredom that can make a lazy students to learn when teachers are not able to choose learning model, which could encourage children to be more active in learning and a spirit or motivation. To understand the concept that is abstract was one of them is by establishing social interaction or co-operation to each other to provide information or each other to improve if there is an understanding the concept that one Social Interaction or co-operation in learning mainly in the school particularly, in fifth grade of elementary school can be set up by a model cooperative learning script. The Problems faced when leraning in fifth grade SDN Wonokusumo  VI/45 of Surabaya such as: (1) learning process took place less conducive because many students do notpay attention tothe teacher, (2) most of the students often speak with his friends, tempting a friend nor play itself. Based on the problem above, researchers conducted research action class to help understand contextual learning social studies and improve learning motivation students with the model cooperative learning script. After an investigation was carried over 2 cycle can be increase activities by teachers in the first cyclewas 73.75 % rise in the second cycle to 87,5%,  students' activity in the first cycle  was 75 % increase in the second cycle  to 88.9% . And learning in the first cyclewas 77.75 %  rise in the second cycle to 85 %. This result proved that cooperative learning model application to improve students learning motivation script in the social subject in the fifth grade at SDN Wonokusumo VI/45 of Surabaya.
