PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE JIGSAW TEMA LINGKUNGAN UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA KELAS II SDN BULUSIDOKARE

Abstract

Abstrak: Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah berawal dari kurangnya penggunaan model pembelajaran dan cenderung menggunakan model ceramah dalam kegiatan pembelajaran, akibatnya siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam  memahami materi yang diberikan oleh guru. Oleh karena itu, peneliti menawarkan solusi untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut dengan menggunakan model pembelajran kooperatif tipe jigsaw untuk  meningkatkan hasil  belajar  siswa  pada tema lingkungan. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah rancangan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang terdiri dari 2 siklus. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas II SDN Bulusidokare Sidoarjo, sebanyak 36 siswa. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui teknik observasi, tes, dan catatan lapangan. Sedangkan instrumen pengumpul data berupa Lembar Observasi Aktivitas Guru dan Siswa, Lembar Tes Evaluasi dan Lembar Catatan Lapangan. Teknik analisis data menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persentase keterlaksanaan aktivitas guru pada Siklus I sebesar 70%, pada Siklus II  sebesar 88% dan mengalami peningkatan sebesar 18%  Aktivitas siswa pada Siklus I sebesar70 % ,pada Siklus II sebesar 80% dan mengalami peningkatan sebesar19 %. Ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa pada Siklus I sebesar 53% dengan nilai rata – rata  . Pada Siklus II ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa sebesar 81%  dengan nilai rata – rata  dan mengalami peningkatan pada tiap siklusnya. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan penggunaan model pembelajaran pada tema pengalaman dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract: The background this study was derived from the lack of use of models of learning and lectures tend to use models in teaching and learning activities, as a result of students having difficulty in understanding the materials given by the teacher. Therefore, the researcher offers solutions to overcome these by using a model of cooperative pembelajran jigsaw to see an increase in student learning outcomes on environmental themes. This study used study plan of Classroom Action Research (CAR) which consists of two cycles. The subjects of this study were 36 fifth grade students of Bulusidokare Sidoarjo. The research method applied in this study are the observation, tests, and field note . While the data collection instruments used student teacher observation activitie, evaluastion test, and field note. Data were analyzed with descriptive qualitative research. The results showed the teacher’s activities in the first cycle of 70%, in the second cycle of 88% and an increase of 18% . Students activities in the first cycle of 70%% ,in  the second cycle of 89% and an increase 19%. Thoroughness of students learning results the first cycle was 75 % with an average value of 70. In the second cycle of students learning results thoroughness was 81% with an average value of 92,18 and has increased in each cycle. It could be concluded that the use of concrete objects  media on the experiences theme to improve student learning outcomes.
