MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR PENJUMLAHAN BILANGAN BULAT MELALUI MODEL KOOPERATIF TIPE STAD DI SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract

Abstrak: Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan yang dilakukan oleh peneliti selama pembelajaran penjumlahan bilangan bulat pada siswa kelas IV SDN Modopuro I  Mojosari mengalami kesulitan dalam belajar.Karena selama pembelajaran penjumlahan bilangan bulat guru belum memperhatikan kebutuhan belajar siswa, baik dalam penggunaan model  yang sesuai dengan  materi dalam pembelajaran. Model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD merupakan suatu pengajaran yang melibatkan siswa untuk bekerja dalam kelompok-kelompok untuk menetapkan tujuan bersama, yang menuntut adanya kerjasama siswa dan saling ketergantungan antar siswa dalam struktur tugas, tujuan, dan penghargaan. Model ini diharapkan mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Subyek penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV SDN Modopuro I sebanyak 35 siswa. Penelitian yang menggunakan rancangan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas ini terdiri dari dua siklus. Presentase aktivitas guru pada siklus I sebesar 63 % dan 80% pada siklus II. Kemampuan guru dalam menerapkan model  pembelajaran mengalami peningkatan. Sedangkan presentase aktivitas siswa pada siklus I sebesar 40% dan 80% pada siklus II. Dapat dilihat terjadi peningkatan baik sikap, kerjasama, serta lebih memperhatikan materi pelajaran yang disampaikan oleh guru. Untuk  pengamatan hasil belajar siswa, juga terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dengan rata-rata nilai sebesar 66 pada siklus I dan 77 pada siklus II. Dari hasil yang telah diperoleh pada Penelitian Tindakan Kelas ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dapat meningkatkan aktivitas guru, siswa dan juga hasil belajar siswa telah melampaui nilai KKM yaitu sebesar 70 yang telah ditentukan pada mata pelajaran Matematika Kelas IV di SDN Modopuro I.

Abstract: Based on the result of risearch that had been done by the reseacher at SDN Modopuro I kec.Mojosari Mojokerto could take the result that along the learning process that is done by the teacher nowadays.she or he does not use learning model as the tematic learning thus,it faces some diffiwlties to start take learning processthat is suitable with the students learning needs be better .the researcher trys to apply learning  model type STAD as the effort to improve the result of students learning that is material is sum up of adds number in math at SDN Modopuro I. Cooperative learning model type STAD is an observation that involved students to work in groups to set common goals that require student to be cooperative and inter independence among students in the task structure, purpose and award. This model is expected to improve student learning outcomes. Research subject were fourth-grade student of SDN Modopuro I  about 35 students. This research uses classroom action research design that consisted of two cycles. Percentage of teacher activity at the first cycle is 63% and 80% in the second cycle. The ability of the teacher in managing the class to motivate the students to be more active in learning has increased. While the percentage of student activities at the first cycle is 40% and 80% for the second cycle. Can be seen that also increase. Such as about the student’s attitude, cooperation and more attention to the material that presented by the teacher. For student learning outcomes, there is also increasing with the average score of 68 for the first cycle and 77 for the second cycle. That indicated that the cooperative learning model type STAD is work to increase the student’s outcome for mathematics multiples and factors of numbers to fourth-grade student of SDN Modopuro I..
