PENERAPAN METODE KARYA WISATA UNTUK MENINGKATKAN MOTIVASI DAN HASIL BELAJAR PADA SISWA SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract

Abstrak: Latar belakang penelitian ini yaitu kurangnya motivasi siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS karena sumber belajar yang digunakan guru kurang tepat dalam proses pembelajaran. Guru hanya terpaku pada satu sumber buku saja tanpa adanya sumber lain yang relevan dan siswa hanya membaca buku paket yang materinya kurang sesuai dengan SK dan KD, sehingga siswa kurang mampu memahami materi yang disampaikan guru.. Instrumen yang dilakukan pada penelitian ini terdiri dari lembar observasi yang terdiri dari lembar aktivitas guru dan aktivitas siswa, lembar tes dan angket. Teknik analisis keempat instrument tersebut data yang dikumpulkan berupa data kuantitatif.  Dalam hal ini peneliti menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif dengan cara mencari nilai persentase keberhasilan dan  rata-rata.Prosedur dalam penelitian tindakan ini terdiri atas tiga siklus. Data dalam penelitian ini pada setiap siklus mengalami peningkatan.  Hipotesis pada penelitian ini adalah pada saat pembelajaran dengan menerapkan metode karya wisata, maka dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa pada pembelajaran IPS siswa kelas IV SDN Kelurahan II Nganjuk. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah penerapan metode karya wisata dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS kelas IV SDN Kelurahan II Nganjuk.

Abstract: The background of this research was the low motivation of student on social studies subject due the learning sources that applied by teacher is inappropriated on leaening process. Teacher only applying one source book without the presence of other relevant resources and student only read text book which the matter is inappropriate with standard competency and basic competency, so that student is unable to understanding the matter that conveyed by teacher. Instrument that applied in this research consisted of observation sheet that consisted of student and teacher activity sheet, test and questioner sheets. Analysis technique of those four instruments is the data that have collected in the form of quantitative data. In this matter, researcher using statistic descriptive analysis by obtain percentage score of achievement and mean. Procedure in this research consisted of three cycles. Data in this research on every cycle experience improvement. Hypothesis in this research was during learning by applyingfield trip method, so it can improve student learning morivation on fourth grade social science of SDN Kelurahan II Nganjuk. The conclusion of this research is the application of field trip method able to improve student learning motivation on fourth grade social science subject of SDN Kelurahan II Nganjuk.
