PENINGKATAN HASIL BELAJAR TEMA LINGKUNGAN DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN METODE GROUP INVESTIGATION SISWA KELAS II DI SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract

Abstrak: Pembelajaran tematik di sekolah dasar, masih menjadi masalah tersendiri bagi guru dan siswa. Dikarenakan guru masih berpikir terpisah antara mata pelajaran satu dengan yang lain. Pada tema lingkungan siswa juga masih berpikir terpisah dan tidak utuh. Hal ini nampak ketika pembelajaran dengan tema lingkungan, guru masih mengajar secara terpisah per mata pelajaran. Akibatnya siswa juga berpikir yang sama, dan antar mata pelajaran tidak ada kaitannya dengan tema lingkungan, untuk itu digunakan metode Group Investigation. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut: (1) Mendeskripsikan aktivitas guru dan siswa dalam pembelajaran dengan menggunakan metode Group Investigation untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA tema lingkungan siswa kelas 2 SDN Lebakjabung, Jatirejo Mojokerto. (2) Menunjukkan meningkatnya hasil belajar IPA tema lingkungan siswa kelas 2 SDN Lebakjabung, Jatirejo Mojokerto Data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh dari hasil observasi aktivitas guru dan siswa, tes pemahaman konsep IPA. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis data deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian dilaksanakan dua siklus dan pda siklus pertama terdiri dari 3 pertemuan, siklus kedua terdiri dari 2 pertemuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dengan menggunakan metode group investigation dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Pada siklus I ketuntasan klasikal pemahaman konsep IPA sebesar 55% dan disiklus II meningkat menjadi 82%. Selain itu, hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan adanya peningkatan aktivitas guru dan siswa dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan metode group investigation dengan tem lingkungan dapat meningkatkan pembelajaran IPA di kelas 2 SDN Lebakjabung, Jatirejo Mojokerto. On the theme of environment students are also still think separate and non-intact . This is apparent when learning with an environmental theme , the teacher is still teaching separately per subject . As a result, students are also thinking the same , and among subjects not related to the theme of the environment , for the use of Group Investigation method . The purpose of this research is as follows : ( 1 ) to describe the activities of teachers and students in learning by using the Group Investigation method to improve the learning outcomes of the environmental theme of Natural Sciences Grade 2 students Lebakjabung Elementary School , Jatirejo Mojokerto . ( 2 ) Demonstrate increasing learning outcomes Natural Sciences environmental theme grade 2 students Lebakjabung Elementary School , Jatirejo Mojokerto. The data in this study was obtained from the observation of the activities of teachers and students , test understanding of the concept of Natural Sciences . Data were analyzed using descriptive qualitative data analysis techniques . The experiment was conducted two cycles and pda first cycle consists of 3 meetings , the second cycle consisted of two meetings . The results showed that by using group investigation method can improve student learning outcomes . In the first cycle of understanding the concept of classical completeness of Natural Science by 55 % and in the second cycle increased to 82 % . In addition , the results also showed an increase in activity of teachers and students in learning activities . It can be concluded that the use of the group investigation method can improve the learning environment tem of Natural Science in Elementary School 2nd grade Lebakjabung , Jatirejo Mojokerto.
